Tokyo Salonard Cafe：Dub - Fuji-Shoji Bldg 2F, 1-11-3 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, (03) 3463-0724 While the building may look a bit dilapdated, the interior is open, bright, and refreshing. Grab a sofa to have a more relaxing style of lesson.
Starbucks Coffee, Shibuya-Mark City - Mark City East 3F, 1-12-3 Dogenzaka, Shibuya (03) 3461-0739 Always crowded, but with so many seats it's usually just a few minutes before someone is on the go.
EXCELSIOR CAFFE, Shibuya Sakuragaoka Daiichi Kasuya Bldg 1F, 2-9 Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya-ku (03) 3462-9271 Conveniently located close to the station and a breezy open air terrace.
Pront-Shibuya (Cafe & Bar) - Brother Bldg 1F, 17-1 Udagawa-cho, Shibuya-ku (03) 3464-9112 A relaxing place.
Tully's Coffee, Shibuya-Tokyu-Plaza - Tokyu Plaza 1F, 1-2-2 Dogenzaka, shibuya-ku (03) 5428-3980 Large and convenient, easy to find.
Ningen Kankei (Cafe & Bar) - 16-2 Udagawa-cho, Shibuya-ku (03) 3496-5001 Scones and tea and alcohol at night if you're into that.
Starbucks Coffee, Shibuya-Tsutaya - Q-Front 1F, 21-6 Udagawa-cho, Shibuya-ku (03) 3770-2301 The "Big Scramble" is in complete view form the full length windows. Always crowded but the view gives you a nice distraction when lessons go flat.
Cafe Miyama, Shibuya-Higashiguchi - Omi Bldg B1F, 3-19-1 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku (03) 3498-1324 Offering meeting rooms, 5 in all, to rent. The smallest is 1400 yen/hour. Great for larger classes.
Streamer Coffee Company - 1-20-28 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku (03) 6427-3705 Mr. Sawada, the owner, owns "Free Pour Latte Art" World Champion-ship. Their lattes are wonderful, take a lok at their site: www.streamercoffee.com
Cafe Banda - 41-3 Kamiyamacho, shibuya-ku (03) 3467-5105 A very artsy place. Minimal, simple. Check it out their interior. Call before you go because they sometimes have private parties.
Starbucks Coffee, Shibuya-Bunkamura - Horiuchi Bldg 1F, 2-25-6 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku (03) 5455-1900 This place is not as crowded as the one at Q-Front. The second floor is quiet and relaxing.
Chatei-Hatou (Coffee Shop) - 1-15-19 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku (03) 3400-9088 Expensive coffee, but sooooo good.
Ron (Coffee Shop) - Goshima Ikueikai Bldg B1F, 1-10-7 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku (03) 3461-9638 Their coffee and Spagetti Neapolitan are quite good. Wide tables make it ideal to bring a laptop and get work done or hold a lesson.
Paris COFFEE - 2-5-6 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku (03) 3476-0584 Old fashioned and relaxing. Smoking is ok.
Kohisakan SHU (coffee shop) - Sakae Bldg 1F, 1-13-8 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku (03) 6427-4817 If you're a cake person they got a nice variety. It's an English Style coffee shop and a popular place for the laptop crowd.
Salon de Te Capital - Tokyu Minami-kan 6F, 2-24-1 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku (03) 3477-4738 Inside Tokyu Department.
Parco Factory (Check this out!) - Shibuya Parco Part 1, 6F, 15-1, Udagawacho, Shibuya-ku (03) 3477- 4738 If you have time in Shibuya, check this out. They offer cool exhibitions such as art, photos, fashions, etc. Fee depends on exhibitions.
Shibuya-kuritsu Shoto Bijyutsu-kan (art museum) - 2-14-14 Shoto, Shibuya-ku (03)3465-9421 Closed on Mondays, Fee; 300 yen for adults Public art museum in a quiet residential area. Paintings, statues, and etc.
Nonbeiyokocho (Drunkard's Alley) - (1-25-10 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku), An alley full of tiny bars, very very tiny, very very interesting.
Casba (Wakamatsu Building B1F 2-14-15, Higashi Shibuya-Ku; 81-3-5467-5402), basement lounge. Try to find it.
Sakuragaokacho - Tree-lined street, beautiful during Cheery Blossom season.
Mandarake Shibuya - The underground floor of Shibuya BEAM. Manga, anime goods and a cos-play stage with live singing and dancing. Okay.
